Why do MOT testers always leave all of the seat belts plugged in?

Because the chicken crossed the road?
Or to test the annoying bing then switch it off (if you have a bing thing ~ I don't)

Ah, so the annoying bing thing is a sort of chicken radar that lets you know a chicken is crossing the road.

MOT Examiners leave my Seat Belts plugged in because the cars goes to them with the seat belts plugged in from me checking all the belts before a MOT.
A quick kick of their shins after collecting the Pass if they do not leave the seat belts plugged in is a good reminder.
