So at the weekend I managed to roll my genuinely RUST FREE fourtrak and I'm pretty heartbroken about the whole thing. I was uninjured but the trucks pretty much written off, every panel badly dented and the roof squashed, infact the only bit of the body that wasn't damaged was the plastic/fibreglass rear canopy which surprised me alot.
So considering its a spotless chassis, well serviced and maintained with only 90000miles, and iv done quite a bit of work solid axle swapping it on coils (was originally independent) I'm inclined to swap the body. So after being undercut on a very local pretty tatty £300 complete fourtrak by a weazil that snook in on the deal I'm on the search again for another body. So discovering that most of the fourtraks are miles and miles away in rural areas I'm attempting to broaden my search by investigating if the front end of the sportrak body (pickup'd) will fit or even the taft body which i like ALOT but I'm guessing will be a lot of work. So has anybody here done similar or have any information of such?? Or even have any daihatsu body's laying around for the right money. I realize that either way any daihatsu body will probably need a lot of welding which is no biggy as thats my profession. Cheers in advance.... Chris[/img]
