The parking light on my Defender td5 was flickering so I thought I check the switch - which was OK but in the process I pulled the wire through and now the light doesn't work at all...
Checking under the car the wire is dangling. There is a plug of some sorts at the end.
I can't see where it should be plugged in to!! Where does it go?

The park brake light switch is at the base of the handbrake lever. If you pull the rubber gaiter off the handbrake lever inside the cab you should be able to see the switch. It will then a case of finding an easy way to connect said wire back to said switch, remember it is a Land Rover. The switch is attached to the lever/bracket by 2 small screws if i remember rightly.

Thanks. I know where the switch is - I want to know where the wire plugs in at the other end. It goes through a hole near the lever to somewhere above the gearbox under the car (see picture)...
