Hi i know there are a few people that like the early terios but once they own and use them they find the lack of low range gear a real problem .
There are alternatives in the model line up in the gearbox and diff ratios,
the first series in manual came with a 4.06 -1 first gear -- manuals had 5.13- diffs and autos had a nice 6.29-1 diff, the later j102 kv3 motor had 3.6 first and 5.29 diff and auto diff of 5.57-1 ,, so there are some options there for the willing ,,,, there has always been the hope that There is a transfer case Out there that might be an easy fit ,, my question is woild people pay for an adapter to that would bolt bolt an f10a suzuki transfer in place of the terios one ,, what would the end result be . using the early manual terios as an example 4.06 - first a low range of 1.87 and the auto diff ratios 6.29 would net a crawl ratio of 47.75-1 ,,, (a stock suz samirai post 90 is 32-1 and with aftermarket 4-1 gears in transfer is 56-1 just for comparison)
would they pay do you think or not enough people ?

Hi, don't think there would be enough interest for this. I had a 2004 Terios and found it great for general laning with a few mods. However, if doing anything too serios, a low range is needed (hence the swop to a jimny). Great motor though. I put some little clips on youtube - look for terry the terios !
