Hey, just need some advice, I’m looking to get a truck around about 2003-2005 models
My two preferences are a ford ranger or an L200 warrior crewcab.
Does anyone have any advice on which is better (reliability) or for a better option....?
I’ll mainly use it for road use, but want to truck for occasional work use.

I had a 52 plate ranger 2.5td. Fuel pump went at 80,000 miles which was a big repair. Service interval was very short, something like 3 or 6,000 miles, I can't remember now. Otherwise it was a good work vehicle, well geared for towing, I used to get about 27mpg. They're actually made by Mazda and you can get the Mazda B2500 which is the same.
Not had an L200, if you can get the superselect gearbox then you can run in 4wd on the road which is a big bonus. I don't know what year they became available from though.
I've also had a 60 plate Isuzu rodeo 3.0, that was a fantastic truck. Great for work, I did 100,000 miles in it and all it ever had was servicing, no breakdowns or repairs. Can also be found as the Vauxhall Brava around that age.

When you need a work vehicle, it is better to have a truck. Those 2 choices are good. The 4wd option of L200 is a good feature but the Ranger also has some noteworthy features.
I wonder what vehicle you chose.
