I have bought a truck and plan to do her up. She needs a good bit of work but just trying to get some ideas.
So firstly it’s a 2.8 without a turbo. I was thinking about buying one. I’s it possible and has anyone got suggestions? Also it’s leaf springs, is it possible to change to coil and is it massively better having coil?
I’ll have more questions like but just needing to get the grips with it all.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Baz

We had a new 2002 one back in the day and all we ever did was service and drive it. I have no more experience with them than that. Sorry. Welcome to the forum though and I am sure someone will have more to add.

A stripped down Jimny. As funds allow it's destined to be a fire breathing Jimny. It's just tuning of a none turbo engine is not a cheap pastime.

Nice, heard good things about the jimnys like. Similar in the capabilities of the light weight land rovers?.
Was looking at them for a while but I am going to use my truck on road as well so wanted slightly more room in the back and a we bit towing power.
They can look amazing with a bit effort eh?
