Having a few problems with a 2000MY 2.7TDi - rough/misfire at idle, and odd behaviour when 'cracking open' and releasing the accelerator pedal.
It has thrown (just once) a fault code for the pump - control sleeve position sensor.
I still have a rusted-up identical Terrano, in which the engine runs just fine My question is: if I swap the pump over, will I also have to swap out the engine ECU and any other bits of the 'NATS' security system? It's not necessarily permanent, just trying to narrow down the problem.
The pump is a Bosch, not Zexel type - if that makes any difference.
