Hi All,

I've had my L200 Barbarian for a few months now and I want to start doing some simple mods.

Before I get an A Bar (in black) I want to de-chrome the plastic bits (Grill, wing mirrors, door handle etc) Although I don't do any serious off roading, by your standards, I do regularly take it through overgrown fields with scrub and brambles to get to shooting spots. Anything I use will need to be fairly tough to avoid getting scratched off.

Was thinking a satin black rather than matt. Any ideas?

Also does anyone know if my chrome rear bar can be powder coated?

John

The raptor / upol type stuff for pickup beds is very tough. You can brush it on dries with a textured finish.

Your metal a-frame will be chrome plated so I would get it back to bare metal before powder coating if I were you, I don't know if you'd get a reaction or problems when they bake it. You could always ask the powder coater for advice, they may have experience.
