Dear 4x4 aficionados,
Once again, a very specific post from me, about my beloved '05 terrano 2...
Has anyone got any experience with dealing with electrical gremlins in the AC system? My AC compressor clicks on for 2 seconds before blowing the 10amp fuse near the driver's knee. I've swapped the relays over in the engine bay, but I've now run out of ideas.
The system is freshly recharged (this morning in fact), and has no leaks. Relay is the second one from the back of the engine bay, on the left hand side of fuse block, should be blue, with part number 252309F920 on top, for those looking for it, as it's unlabelled (image below).
Thanks in advance everyone!

short on the a/c clutch?
Isolate the wire from relay to clutch then see if the fuse still blows if no then it could be the clutch - if it still blows then you are looking at something between relay and controller

Brilliant, thanks, I will get on that tomorrow if this monsoon lets up a bit!
