Now I know this isn't directly 4x4 but what the heck - there's a Merc G500 4x4 in amongst all of this to drool over!

Well we took the MX5 camping - yes it can be done! Bit tight but all the essentials were there:

Actually you aren't interested in the 'drive it like you stole it' classic racing (it was great to see Dollies and Escorts and Cortinas and Cobras):

Or the clubs:

Or the pits:

Or even the free rides:

Or the Group C cars at dusk:

Even better though was the RR undergoing a live 3 day rebuild:

and the fireworky planes:

the main act of Sat night wasn't bad either:

But - what is that I can see from the big wheel:

a G500 beer wagon - WANT!

My dad went on the Friday, said it was really good and recommended I went. He said you could ride in some Jags doing doughnuts which were getting though a set of tyres every 18 minutes Shocked

The beer wagon looks great, with decent beer as well!!
Back in the day I used to run Fiat X1/9 turbos and camping was possible (but I suppose technically they have 2 boots!)

Cheers all.
Shame I can't do the Goodwood Revival this year...just run out time (and money!)

Aiming to be at the Adventure Overland though.

I'm not going to tempt fate but the MX5 needed the seatbelt mounts rewelding and the fiesta broke her rear springs (don't ask - they are Mrs NBs cars)...

...all the LR has needed so far is half a litre of oil Cool
