as the title says, without thinking connected the battery the wrong way, current problems are which i think are connected
the fuse ig coil keeps blowing
front indicators dont work at all
no lights on the dash with the ignition on
if i put a 30 amp fuse in the ig coil the car still starts
where am i expecting to be damaged from connecting the battery the wrong way?

That's a tricky one depends on how long you had it connected . You can even damage the battery connecting it the wrong way . Most likely you've fried a few wires and fuses and possible some relays . When I did mine by accedent because my battery has a red wire going to the - negative I instantly thought positive . I just touch mine and fried the earth wire instantly . So it might pay to check that . I now have a large fuse connected to my earth as a safety precaution , if the same thing was ever to happen I'd have a trip point .

Thanks for the reply, it was actually on there for about 30 minutes but it was a half dead battery and it did kill it off, I couldn't find any meted wires where I have looked so far, it did blow the 60 amp fuse that's next to the battery though

If you never turned the ignition on while the battery was reversed then you may be lucky and just killed the alternator which would explain why you have no dash lights - assuming you mean battery, oil lights etc.

The ignition was turned on lol, along with head sratching why the starter wasn't engaging, ill start it later though check the alternator voltage

Not just the alternator voltage - it also has electronics in it to supply voltage to the dash lights and switch them off when the engine is running.

If you switched the ignition on then every electronic component is likely to be fried including the ECU - sorry Sad Sad

Your best bet is to take it to a qualified mechanic with electrical expertise , unfortunately the issue here is not going to be resolved because nobody knows the full extent of the damage . At least you will know for sure
