I got a phone call on Thursday evening asking if they could have my challenge truck for their show. I said yes and ended up trying out the RTI ramp in a major way on Sunday

Isn't the general idea to keep three wheels on the ground while putting the other as far up the ramp as possible (without the wheel on the other end of it's axle leaving the ground)? Twisted Evil

BTW that's not much articulation for a live axle

We were demonstrating the diff locks rather than testing articulation. The rope was there to stop it rolling into the audience if it fell over.

It was built 15 years ago and apart from new brake lines, servicing, and fitting my winches I've done very little to it since buying it.

Not shabby for £4k considering it has Ashcroft axles and ARBs

When I went up forwards the rope was the only thing keeping me upright but in reverse the rope was slack.

Redline Mike aka bigbuggy was directing me. It was mostly for entertainment but with me new wheel spacers giving me a decent turning circle I was climbing over everything quite well.

The show was small, a first attempt, and well attended.
