What is the most simple way to wire and set up a 24v system for winches as I know you can run the 12v bow motor at 25v cheers

I think you have to be careful running the motors off load at a higher voltage as some can run away with themselves but if the motor is happy at 24v all the time then personally I would stick it on a separate circuit. Leave the car side alone with its own starting battery fit a 24v alternator, 24v worth of battery and away you go. You won't flatten the starting battery, minimal to go wrong and the increased power / speed / reduced current advantages that increasing the voltage provides.
