Looking at fitting the above size tyres, ive measured up the spare wheels I have and they appear to be 15X8J wellers (though this seems like a rare size that I cant find elsewhere), ET appears to be 0. But I will have to have a proper measure tomorrow.

Is this sort of offset acceptable on a midly lifted Vit? I think its lift 2" rear and 1.5" front. I dont mind giving stuff a bash to make them fit but I dont want to start cutting arches.

If they turn out to be 7J what sort of offset am I after?

235s aren't that big they should fit on reasonably well.... but I don't have a vit myself. Worst case invest in some mildly sized (less than 1.5") spacers

I have 235/75 15's on zero offset wheels, albeit 15x7's and not 15x8's, and run a 3" Calmini kit with no body lift. They tyres only rub at the extreme ends of rear articulation, and then it's not very much.
