Hi all,
we're in Northumberland in the UK, and we've been looking out for an all-terrain vehicle to convert into a camper. We have just bought a 1979 Volvo C306 / TGB 20 ex-Swedish military troop carrier (more recently used as a gun bus by a local shooting estate). Actually we bought two, but the second one is a non-runner to be mined for spare parts
We're just in the happy process of getting the first truck MOT'd - fun times -
hoping it'll go through as a Class 5 private passenger vehicle.
We're thinking of converting the engine to electronic fuel injection instead of the twin carbs it currently has.
It seems quite a few people have swapped out the original B30A engines completely, so we're looking into the whys and wherefores... any advice on any of the above would be most welcome!
