the right way to remove the old one is definitely a bond movie kick, im sure its in the Haynes manual Laughing Laughing

but is it a rubber seal? or glued in? for glued in screens you use a cheese wire thingy to cut the sealant around the screen and special black silicone stuff to stick it back in.... Question

first off vit screens are glued in which makes getting the things out more dificult like been said theres a tool (cheese wire type) for getting out bonded screens but i found if far easier to ring round winscreen companys for a replacement to be fitted (word of warning if you ring autoglass sit down as these should wear a mask and used to billing insurance companys) but local companys tend to be far cheeper ( repacement rear side window for a jeep with autoglas was £500 from a jeep main dealer glass £45 and paid a local company £50 to strip out what was left and re bond a new one in)
