Where is the cheapest place to get some 80-20 argon mix from cheapest I have found it is £50 rent £58 fill that's delivered to my work. Tried co2 but found that the is a lot of splatter wiv my 151 Sealy welder

There is a thread on this forum with loads of supplies around the UK, worth a look i reckon

I used Co2 for years and found it good enough with my clarke 151t. maybe adjust the flow rate and see what you get.

Flow rate is around 15 LPM have you got any pics of some welds for comparison
Will look at that list

I have hobby weld, they do 5 or 15 for thick or thin steel. No rental, about £50 deposit and about £30 fill up from memory. I preferred boc argoshield but a small boc bottle lasted me 2 years so I just couldn't justify the cost. You get about twice as much in a boc bottle.

Sorry for late replyt, i used below 10lpm and that was when out side welding, indoors maybe as low as 6lpm on thin stuff.
