I,ve bought a brand new 14 plate hilux, it's a bit of a soft roader in comparison to my old LJ70.
It's fitted with the Bridgestone road tyres that came with it, and I thought I'd get some use out of them, before putting on some Bf Goodrich's.
Anyway the brakes are pants, as the abs kicks in all the time on the back lanes, and off road.
I took it back to the dealer ship. They had it and hour charged me £60 and told me there was nothing wrong with it. They also told be that when in 4h the abs is disabled. Well this is rubbish. I know I need some better boots, this might at least improve the situation.
I'm temped it pull the fuse on the abs as it is nothing but lethal.
Any one else had similar issues?

I know I drive a Pajero and and old one at that but I too had sh*t ABS - until I upgraded to high performance brake hoses - the difference was amazing...
