Two things...

A lane is not tight unless the only way in and out of the truck is through the windows or back door

And....

you are correct about the chainsaw, however end of the trail towards Guildford road is populated on one side with travellers, who as you know vigorously defend the right to roam, hence the flappy fence into the track and various other bits of spoil that appear.
after the tree incident you will hear quite a few dogs barking, I was trying to be as quiet as possible and not damage the million pound mansion built next to the track (and yes you would be correct in spying blue pipe and a stopcock sticking out the wall there)
A word of warning though the two wheel fraternity refer to the track as dog poo alley (though not quite in those terms) and seem to get splattered, this can be rectified at the old Guildford road at frimley which although not difficult (2wd no locks) has a number of rather large puddles to wash off in (and a newly installed chicane of fly tipped hard core in the middle of the track!).

For this, it does not happen very often. This is what makes it attractive.
