Probably a bit late as I don't come on here so often, but I would check:
1. Rust on the chassis
2. Rusty rear arches
3. Steering box leak
4. Head gasket failure
5. Weak rear leaf springs
6. Play in the steering idler arms
That's about it I think.

I didn't buy it in the end, it was a bit far to travel, lack of parts availability and insurance cost

I did contact your office but it was considerably more than insuring a Disco etc, special policies for Land Rovers I was told
