It came up quite well.
Not entirely sure a landy should be that shiny, but if it helps to keep it in good nick for a few years then why not. Shame it's got a slight orange peel finish in the photo. You can only see that with a mirror finish
Made me happy on a sunny day anyway.

It was either that, or start to dig the hole for the hot-tub base!
Landy polishing won on several fronts!

My 110 is beyond rank after a week in the forest running The Scotia so if you want to wash and polish mine ....
What kind of hot tub? I've got a softub which is about to be given a proper base and a wee cover to keep the rain off us ..... yeah, I know we're wet anyway but that's not logical to her outdoors.

why not employ thgat wonder of modern machinery... the mini digger..
coupled with a mini dumper, the actual work done is near 0.
(and you get to play with a digger)

When you say "wee" cover, is that some sort of Scottish dialect or is it to stop the kids p..... in it? "Wee" being English dialect for what Difflockers might call "-------".

I regularly play with 8 tonne diggers and 3t dumpers. I make mini diggers fall over! jojo wrote: | RichardD wrote: | I've got a softub which is about to be given a proper base and a wee cover to keep the rain off us ..... . |

I once thought about washing the land rover, I left the thought there for a while and it passed.
There was a hot tub at our house when we bought it, I made sure they took it but they still left the base and all the associated junk there that I had to clear. Is there a point to them?!?

I love my hot tub. Costs about £1 per day to run normally but costs me nothing to run (wind turbine/solar panels).
Apart from the summer months when it is too warm and there are too many midges, I have it running all the time at about 41C deg and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in a seriously hot bath surrounded by snow and ice.
It's great for sore muscles and is properly relaxing. It's not for everyone tho'

For me it's like when you go on a beach / pool holiday. You pack all your stuff, travel to the airport, queue to park, queue to check in, queue to go through security, queue to get on the plane, go through all the flight safety, fly, queue to get off the plane, queue for security, queue to get your bags, queue to pick up your car, queue to get out the airport, get to where your staying, queue to get in. Unpack, find all your stuff, make your way to the pool, find a lounger, setup your towel, put on sun tan lotion, adjust the bed, sit down... then what?
What do you mean we just sit here?
Very funny, seriously, what do we do?
You mean we're really going to just sit here for two weeks?
Oh, we get to eat as well?
Guess I get to watch the clock for the next 5 hours until the excitement of sustaining my life then.
It would've been more relaxing just not going! Then for the ultimate excitement we get to do the same amount of queuing on the way home to then be met by grass upto the knees and a kennel bill that costs more than the holiday.
I'll never understand just sitting

Oh, totally with you there. I'll never understand beach holidays.
Hot tub though? Quite like the idea of sitting in one with a beer after working in the garden or on the car.

After working in the garden or pottering on the car.
You mean there's an end to working in the garden or pottering on the car?!
