Hello folks, I have been niva less for quite some time and finally have decided that life without a niva is no longer possible!!!
I am thinking of buying a new niva with a 2" lift. Having test driven one today I was so impressed - darn awesome in fact.
Question - with a 2" lift what tyre size would be best. I had in mind 205/80 16 as there is a huge choice available. Secondly I believe these will fit on standard niva rims which I am keen to use.

Any advice or pointers would be welcome.

Thanks a million.

With 205/80's they'll rub slightly on the front lip on the front wheel arches on full lock and on the inner wing of the rear arches on full articulation.

195/80s would be my choice.

Thanks a million gagetboy I appreciate your prompt reply. My thinking is with the 2" lift I want slightly larger than standard but not to big so as to be a problem. So 195/80 it is!!! Cheers again mate. Smile

Can I just confirm Gadgetboy that even with a 2" lift 205/80 16 on original rims will not work as well as 195/80 16?? cheers mate.

205s will catch slightly and the recommendation is to trim the arches. If you want to avoid that 195s are your choice.

The sheer mass of 205s is also just at the limit of what a stock Niva is happy with.
