ive had them in the past , like any other tyre on the market they have to be made to a specific spec . so if its a budget issue .then i cant see why not .
don`t expect them to last as long as , say bfg `s for some reason the dont last any were near as long .

Does it?

^^^^^^ what he said i really don't think bfg's are expensive and probaly cheaper in the long term

But that doesn't help if you can't afford them in the first place

I put Insa turbos on my last 90 and they won't do 10 k before there worn out

Bfg's tend to go on for ever

I had kingpins on a series 3 some years ago and i seem to remember they lasted ok. But there wasn't enough power to pull the skin off a rice pudding
so it'not a fair comparison to the insa turbos

Here's my experience of the kingpin A/Ts

http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=58524...work&start=60

The way the tread wore id say a couple wernt completely round and they shook the car like mad. Never going to buy them again. Insa turbo or malatesta are most likely a very different breed and better quality. Kingpins only lasted about 20,000 miles. As you can see in the pictures theyre fun to (sort of) balance
