Hi guys

Firstly I have searched and searched! This thread was useful http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f68/disco-door-sp...s-how-171201.html

But my back door won't lock, either with a key, central locking or from the button inside. Iv squirted everything in wd40 and I have tested the actuator and that was fine.

Before I embark on dismantling the mechanism I wanted to check iv not missed something obvious. If you have a look at the attached picture you can see a black plastic tab (blue arrow pointing to it) that look likes it should be attached to something:

Any suggestions?

I think, but am not sure, that the part is a clip holding something in place and does not connect to anything, but some clever person who knows will be along soon and can give you a better answer.

There is a spring inside the door opening mechanism that fails. It can be replaced and there is someone who sells just the springs for all five doors for a few quid and if I can find the ad. I had for them I will let you know but it was over two years ago so don't hold your breath. Other than that you can get complete replacement mechanisms.

If I get a minute I'll pull my door card off and see if it's the same, unless someone responds in the meantime.
