I have a 1990 3.9V8 Range Rover and a 1992 3.9 V8 RR for spares.
Does anyone know if it would be reasonably practicable to move over cruise control and/or heated seats from the later one into the one I use

Any help greatfully received

Ta

Any thing is possible , check hole centres of rails , check wiring on intended vehicle for heated seats maybe a block connection near ,or as you might have to take a feed off your fuse board , or make new one plus a switch . Fused on positive of course , I've done it already merc seats into a volvo .

Ta Muddy - I'm hoping someone knows if there are connectors as standard (just blanked off and not yet fused) without the need to pull out the seat or dash. The spare truck has the seats out already, so not easy to see where they plugged in, etc

I retrofitted cruise control to my Pajero - almost all the plugs, sockets and looms were there, cruise control is usually an option so the wiring could already be there - same as the seat wiring, but we're talking Land Rover - they could have reloomed for every model and option, just because...

I'd say the only way to know for certain is to check out one against the other

The BCM will probably need reconfiguring aswell.

1990 on should be compatible for seating but I can't find a reference to heated seats in any of the wiring diagrams, only electrically adjusted seats?
If fitted the seats will be controlled simply by a relay, timer and switch no BECM should be involved.

Cruise control will need all components including pedal switch/ vacuum pipes / steering wheel etc.! transferred.

As you have both vehicles the work should be simple enough. Twisted Evil

Good luck
