Well it says DAF on one of the hoses so that's a start. Are there any plaques on the engine at all? If you can find any engine codes on the block or head etc then it gives you something to ring DAF with and ask. They might be able to email you a list of models this engine was fitted in so you know what to ask the breaker yards for. 370 bhp would probably narrow it down to tractor units.

It is a daf engine commonly know as an mx engine. I don't think it is designed for a truck as there's differences in the aux components. Maybe a bus or something like that. As to gearboxs it is only zf manual and semi auto boxs fitted to dafs with the odd allison fully auto box in bin lorrys. You would need to find out what the engine was designed for if you want to get it running as it could have an immobilizer as all dafs have one but the bottom plug on the ecu is usually the feeds to and from the cab. It doesn't look like a daf loom coming from it. Depending on the model it could either be 320 or 360hp if fitted to daf.
