their website doesn't say much. Would this not fall foul of A-frame legislation if used on the road?

ive used the intertrade rdt that fits inside the van they work very well. But will not reverese even with the lock stops on, the wheels spay out at 45degs.
i was told while working for the recovery company that had these that, there for recovery use only and can only be used within a 60 mile radious of where the vehicle is kept. If it is used outside this the towing vehicle needs a tachograph fitted.
hope this helps ollie Very Happy

How well would it cope with a rough forest stage?
I know there were a few using spec lifts at one stage, and there still seem to be a few Harvey Frost's around

If bouncing over the rough stuff with a rally car on the back I think it could do with the some more support. Maybe a 2nd set of wheel to stop the backend dipping / bouncing.

My Harvey works OK but its a bit narrow and a little on the short side. I've rolled it once!

I've looked at the Harvey option but ruled it out for a few reasons, main one being I can't get my hands on one! Other reasons were too easily rolled and a pain to manouver on tight stages.
