Just replaced my 2nd steering gaitor, first one I stripped down on vehicle shoes , backing disc , the lot . Lots to undo , cleaned and replaced , reprinted. Lot easy for a one man operation , easy on your back ? The 2nd one decided to attack it in different way disconnected brake pipes, steering rack, undid bolts holding portal axle supported by timber pulled the lot out , much quicker. Downside you got a lot of weight to play with ? Top tip get your hands on a 4 wheel trolley , dolly with a back , ratchet axle to trolley undo last bolt .roll away from vehicle .used sack track this time. Will be fabricate a trolley for the next two .

One thing I have noticed is the easier steering . On strip down complete of the axle is the build up of crud on the upper king pin I think it's called around the back of the bearing
