Hi,
Wondered if anyone could offer advice? Already own a 2003crd jeep cherokee(liberty in us) and would like to do some mild offroading. Its seems a little low so thought i may need a lift kit. Or do i spend the money elsewhere and get myself a grand cherokee which i assume has more ground clearance??
Any thoughts .....

I recently fitted a 2.5" lift kit from the US. Its called a budget kit, with front & rear spacers , along with 1" wheel spacers..it does the job great also giving a standard rife comfort with better ground clearance.

depending how you want off road, serious or occasionally

budget > http://www.rocky-road.com/kjsus.html

if serious off road get > KYB front struts & springs (£140 @ £70 a set) ebay & much tougher than the standard units , & almost as good a old man emu set.. I use mine for keepering on n yorks moors & with the robust build of the jeep , the torque of the diesel crd, it outshines any other 4x4 I have owned by far & I have owned a few ! Embarassed
