hi all. I have a superwinch husky that i bought secondhand. I'l like to take it completely apart in order to restore it properly.
I have had the spur gearbox cover off, but i couldnt see how to remove the motor. im thinking it could be the two screw holes i have pointed to in this image, but when i had a look it, it didnt look like that was the case
nor can i find any thread on the internet on the subject, which is kinda strange because there are a lot that mention replacing the original motor with a bow motor.
would love it is someone could advise as to how to do this
regards,
ned .

Looks like you have taken it completely apart in the pic?
Motors are held in place by the 2 bolts on the brush end of the motor - they go right through the motor and screw into the winch casing
