Here's one for everyone:
2001 Freelander Td4 is now simultaneously showing Traction Control, Hill Descent and ABS warning lights.
What's wrong now?

best way to find out is to have it plugged in and the codes read .
the abs and traction control light are both linked to the abs system , so it could just be a dud sensor .

Duff brake light switch
Broken wires on the HDC switch
Broken ABS sensor
Broken reluctor wheel ring.
4 to start with.

I bet your brake lights are on as well.
There was a recall on the brake light switches in 2002/3 as they were faulty ,Disco II had the same fault.
Diog computer won't show up a fault either as there's no system fault. All the differnt systems are linked and activate through the brake light switch via CAN which is why your getting warnings for braking and tracton Systems you wouldn't think are on the same loop.
Another thing will bring up these at the same time is a rear lamp bulb incorectly fitted. This will normaly show up with the front lamps doing odd things like coming on With the brake as the power from side or brake lights can be pushed up through the car ,CAN wont like this and shut systems down that are connected to the lights.

Thanks for the replies. For future reference, it turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor, as suggested.
