My solenoid box went up in smoke the other wk got full off water and burnt everything out including melting the box. It is mounted separate from the winch so now
I need a new solenoid pack box complete unit. But I'm having trouble finding somewhere to get one from.

Any suggestions on a postcard.

buy some new solonoids and a waterproof connector box of the appropriate size from your nearest electrical retailer...

saves fannying around

I had thought about that. However I'm not to sure off the wiring as It was all just a melted mass when I took it apart. So I figured if I got one ready to connect it would save alot off messing.

How many wires to the winch? 2 or 3?

If 2 wires, buy 4 solenoids and wire them into a waterproof box, like Toseland suggests.

If 3 wire, buy an Allbright unit.

Any winch suppliers will sell you a solenoid pack.

AllBright unit is the one you need.....all enclosed in resin....can't get water inside it.
