I have just put in another steering box and it turns far sharper to the left than it does to the right. I meassured the length of the rods and the right is 1/2" shorter than the left. To correct the problem would mean making the right rod even shorter and the left rod even longer. Would this have a bad effect on the steering (bump steer?). Is there another way to even it up or is there something that could be bent/worn?

After some more thinking and looking i think one of the knuckle arms is bent. Looking at it from the front of the car with the wheels straight one is sitting just behind the cv boot the is just next to it towards the center of the car. I'm not sure which one is bent.
