Try the main dealer, there 1000% worse. Useless comes to mind !! No wonder there a hard sell & in small numbers here uk.

ps, under 2000rpm in the 2.5crd 2004, i get 32/34 mpg easy.

Mine is the same year and engine, i can get 32 if going a fair way under 50mph, but it averages 20-24 depending on time of year. Its actually very rare that you drive a long way at 50.

You will not regret sticking with Toyota's Jeeps are great when all is going well but the electrics are crap.

I could look at parkers but I wanted real fuel consumption figures of the people who know not the load of old crap that the manufactuers claim! so the petrol versions are the same mpg or there abouts? petrol is cheaper than diesel and petrol cars are cheaper to buy

I have a landcruiser and a hilux so am no stranger to the filling station. Just fancied a change and didn't want to buy something that wouldn't do 23mpg which i would expect ideally.

If you want to do better than 23mpg then diesel - if 4L then sub 20 is norm, with a few mods on

Great choice. Get yourself on the surf forum too if you have not already. The V6 is no worse of fuel than the 3.0TD I have. We should do some laning sometime.

I am already on the Surf forum, Oh and I sold the 4Runner to a guy at work and made £200 out of it (he made the offer) I had to let it go and didn't get chance to get attached to it!
