Hi all,
After a very cold dunking for 5-10 minutes (my fault Rolling Eyes Laughing ), i have found a few things that need improving,

The pas fluid is pink, ie water is getting in, so is it possible to fit a breather to the resevoir? Has any one done it?

Have noticed the clutch resevoir appears to have leaked arround the lid, so going to change that aswell, is there anything to seal it up aswell?

Engine appears ok, good black oil, but going to wip the top off the pump and dry in there.

Also, how long do seats take to dry? Embarassed

if the fliud is 'frothy' pink it's more likely aerated than water ingress.

Admittedly I run a steel tank not plastic, but I filled the breather/cap with silicon sealer and bolted a banjo fitting to the tank lid. The hose from that goes under the tank and up to the bulkhead. This was more for rolling and steep climbs than wading, but the effect is the same.

The brake res cap got drilled and a steel tube pushed in to take to a flexible pipe.

going to check the fluids in the morning, once its had a chance to settle.

Dont mind the inside getting soaked (alright i do but part of it!) but limiting damage to the running of it, as its used regularly!

sounds likke a plan running a breather for pas, its the plastic small thing, i could do with an old range rover type as it does boil once in a while,

just hoping the fuel isnt full too Crying or Very sad was close to full tho, so hopefully settle and drain water off the bottom!

Note to self, if the guy that helps run the place tells you its deep...............
