Do you have to adjust the hand brake after fitting new pads on a 98 grand? [/list]

I ask because after having pads fitted to pass the mot l now have brake drag. Particularly on the right rear. Wheel is HOT and left rear is warm. Fronts cold.
But l also never use the hand brake so having not being used since the last mot l wonder if its not stuck on after this mot?

you have a sticking caliper
either the sliders are sticking, take the rubbers out and file out the rust helps
or the piston is, replace the piston
did you take the disc off if so you could have disturbed the shoes, un-likely though
