Just a quick hello to you folks on here. Only just found the site. We Jeepers seem to be a minority. Maybe it's because we have the most reliable vehicle!

IME reliability, especially on cars over 5 years old, is generally a function of maintenance and complexity.
I've had jap cars that never worked, Landrovers that never broke and Italian and French cars that sometimes worked. The only car that was truly unreliable was my Volvo 345 and that was more down the to garage that maintained it.
