Mud Terrains = Devalue vehicle?

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying mud terrains for my Jeep but I'm not sure if it will devalue my car. I don't plan to keep it more than a year. I know it won't add any value but I'm concerned it may devalue it. If that's likely to be the case, I will probably get all terrains instead

Does anyone know?

Well, why not keep the tyres that are still o. It, and replace when selling?

The actual performance difference between MT and AT will probably be irrelevant on a tidy road going 4x4, in fact the AT's will be better. You'll only need MT's when seriously off roading, and by that time your body panels will almost certainly taken on a new shape !

I've used Cooper AT's for years now, on at least 5 different 4x4's, and never failed to get where I wanted to go in the snow and on tracks or muddy fields.
If I want more action than that, damage is going to happen.

I've always sold my 4x4's with AT's, and every buyer has always liked the choice.

Unless you are going to use it primarily off-road don't bother wirth MTs. They are noisy on the road and affect your fuel consumption.

The only reason they might devalue the car is by people making the assumption you've had the temerity to use the car for it's expressed design purpose

If it were me, I would stick with a known AT tyre.
