I am planning on giving the chassis of the LR a painting. Starting off with angle grinder and wire cup followed by a wipe with panel wipe to remove any grease. The treat with Jenolite and top off with Zinc primer. Now i am not sure what paint to use as a topcoat. Ideally a paint I can apply with a brush
Chassis black?
Rustoleum ?
other suggestions please.

I have used traditional Chassis Black from my local car paint supplier. Cost me £50 for 5 litres and it does the business over a good acid etch primer.
I'll find the make tonight for you

Hi, I recently purchased some panel wipe from www.internationalpaintsuppliers.com and it worked like a dream for my chassis! (just for readers reference)

I normally use Ronseal no rust. Very good paint and seems to be heavy duty stuff. It's very thick and I normally mix with white spirits by about 30%.

PRO15 - most of what you've said isn't needed. Then top coat in anything really.
