Hasn't changed much from a cycling point of view over the last few years! Some bits you cycle, others you push, yet others you carry. Same as ever, really!!

Matt, it is fine, you can do it on road tyres.

There's been quite a bit of corrosion recently, it's created a V gully, need to be carefull in a 4x4
