Hi all Have just started on my new build project .Take one s2 landrover with stuffed chassis an fit on to a suzuki 410 flat deck chassis.

My plan is so far going to plan have the landy tub siting on the chassis to see if it fits .shorten the front an the back to be more like a trails truck . but still make it look like a landrover with the truck cab fitted over the roll cage .Power it with a holden 3.3 ltr motor striaght 6 fitted to s2 gearbox an diffs as that what i have an trying to keep it a cheap build with out haveing to buy parts .

Looking forward to seeing your build when you post some pictures of it.

Idea
Somehow a written description of the build in a 'custom build' section leaves lots to the imagination of the reader. Wink

george
Question Are you thinking of something like these?
(pictures uplifted from a thread in the Land Rover section)

Short stuff starting to take shape now after spending a few wet days in the workshop got front suspenion sorted out an tacked together now .have used nissan tereno rear coil springs in the frontwith a 3 link set up.cut all the old flat deck mounts off an shorted the back of the chassis.
Just working on the rear 3 link set up now .an working on a idea to use 1 coil spring in the middle with shock.most the the parts that ive made up are from parts taht i have lrying around in the shed .tring to keep it a cheap build with out having to buy to much steel an parts.

The first pick is of the landy as it was when i got it .
