hi eveyone,im new to forum, i have a u1200 and im wanting to fit a versalift 235i which was previously fitted to a 1550,im planning on making up a new sub frame to attach to the mogs x frame so i can remove it easaly. i realise that my mog is a fair bit shorter than the 1550 but sure i can make it work, anyone any experiance of anything like this or any advice would be much appreciated, thanks peter

I would imagine theres very little diferences apart from the wheelbase so just use the mounting points that was originally used unless it was mounted at the very rear of the bed

Apart from the length of the reach on the picker compared to the length of the chassis against the stability of the whole unit.

For sake of argument a 6M reach cherry picker on a 406 would not be a good combination.

I presume that this this is going to have to adhere to all of the regs for insurance H&S and all that Jazz, might be worth speaking to someone who actually knows this stuff rather than on an off roading forum?

Hi I have a u1000 and I put a 10 meter simon u35 on the three poinl linkage with no problems, you do realise that the x frame moves in relation to the chassis?
