Hi guys,

My Santana (410) well the seats are battered, wondering what my options are?

Is there anything that bolts straight in or am I going to be making runners from box section?

Rear seats... I have originals but they are in poor condition what else fits? Or should I get them recovered...?

Swft GTi seats...

pretty much most things will fit with a bit of... persuasion, and welding.

i've got mk4 escort xr3i recaro seats in my sj very comfy but not a straight bolt in job.

the nicest seats i've had were the Evo 8 recaros i put in my surf, stangely i only had to redrill a couple of holes to fit them.

its always easier if you get the seat runners with the new seats too. you have more metal to play with then.

Its been a while but IIRC sj seats are held on there runners by 4 10mm bolts but i'm sure one side is about and inch higher than the other side.

when i eventually dig my sj back out the garage your more than welcome to come and have a look, at the moment the seats are fitted but i'm not happy with them so i'll be redoing mine at some point

There is a recent discussion I started regarding seats to fit in a SJ

Just called 'Suzuki seats?'

I recently fitted a pair of modern suzuki swift seats in to mine, removing swift runners and replacing with old SJ seat running gear.

Passenger seat is a little more tricky and the aim is really to get them set so you get max adjustment, especially as I am tall. So I had to set as far back as possible.

Basic tools needed, common sense and a few nuts and bolts.

Oh i removed the swift seat belts and stuck with the SJ ones bolted to chassis, as the clip on thee belt is different.

Good luck here is a photo.
