Oh my god, I replaced the sensor, with a slight bit of adjusting to the knuckle , and voila, I've gotta be the happiest man in the world at the moment, many holes drilled and retapped for new bolts , all copper slipped, and put back together again. Thanks to everyone that gave me tips, I'm very gratefully to you all. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing Dancing

But I did find out that the 4 wd doesn't engage, so this will be my next mission. Light on dash comes on dash but front wheels don't turn, but the prop does! Any ideas for this one anyone? I know I've recently replaced the brake washer kit, but I've done it exactly to the diagrams. Is ther any special positions , or sequences to do or fit these things? Cv boots are all intact with no leaks Confused

When the prop is turning do either of the front half shafts turn? could either be diff or hubs depending on what the setup is on that make of truck

Well done Taz, you got there at last Cool

With the front wheels clear of the deck, turn the front prop by hand, and see if the drive shafts turn, if they turn then its either a broken cv which is unlikely, or the auto hub isnt engaging which is more likely

Mate, like I said, I've got to be the happiest man on earth, but what a pain in the ****, even worse working with one arm. I'm gonna try the diff thing next , but like you said Ivor , I've got a feeling aswell that my suspicions are with the hubs, if it is I feel my self buying a couple of manual lock downs Smile Smile
