My lights on my Suzuki samurai recently have been playing up .
The right side sometimes goes dim and doesn't work properly .
Theres not even a high beam when switched on .
I have recently tried cleaning up the earth wires to both lights and also the battery , even the battery it's self has been clean right up .
Any other thoughts on solving this mystery ?

hi hope this helps.check that your fuses are all clean and not green and fuzzy in the fuse box its self.if they are ok a cheap volt meter will do the next job.check that you have got battery voltage at the live of the bulb in the holder its self.if you havnt got that youve got a dodgy wire or a faulty bulb holder.or put a seperate live and earth to the bulbs, see if it makes any difference.i had the same with my rear lights on mine and it turned out that the live wire had corroded in the insulation and caused the lights to go dim.

possibly a faulty earth, generally earths will be located near the light, check the wire isn't corroding around the crimp, also make sure there is good electrical contact.
