How hard is to convert a Disco (200tdi) from RHD to LHD ? Is it possible/do the necessary holes in the bulkhead exist?
Off the top of my head
LHD Steering box, drop arm and steering linkages to hubs etc
Dashboard swap over
Wiring loom ? does existing loom reach across?
Speedo cable needs moving across
Do the mounts exist inside the car to attach the steering column to ?
What about under the bonnet?
Is there room to pass the steering column through i.e does it foul the air filter etc?

Why? with the price of discos can't you just get LHD one & swop your toys over?

RH Swivel Housing
Which is also liked by hydro steer folks. Dennis has some in his shed in America off old vehicles. Wasn't worth shipping one. Might be worth shipping 2?

RRC and early disco only have an arm for the drag link on the left hand side (2 cast-in arms). The right hand swivel housing only has one arm at the back for the drag link.
Landy folks in France said they were always on the hunt for LHD swivels, as they converted more RHD vehicles to LHD than there were parted-out LHD vehicles. And this part is also needed for hydro steer.
Only later landy's had front axels that were both LHD and RHD, even though the casing had been standard with both brackets from the begining.
Dennis has some in America, because they only part-out LHD vehicles. Unfortunately its 2000+ miles away
A new swivel is under £200 last time I looked.

From what I remember from the 200 I broke, the hole in the bulkhead is there. I'd have thought the biggest issue would be finding one with little enough rust to make the project worthwhile.

If it has air con then it will at least need the pips re-routing and possibly different parts needed as a result. The bulkheads I've seen had all the holes for things like steering and peddles etc. but while some on the other side are blanked others are used for things like routing aircon pipes.
