Hi, I have ordered a 1.5 inch lift for my 2002 L200, hoping that after it's lifted I can fit 285/75/16's without them scrapping the bumper, and then get a bit more clearance.

Anyway this may seem an absolute simple question, but I was having a look at where the lifting blocks will go and I was just wondering, do you place the blocks on the chassis then the original rubber piece on top of the block, so it's between the body and the block, or do you place the lifting block on top of the original rubber piece? or does it not matter? Hope you understand what I'm on about, just can't really afford to mess it up if you know what I mean. I have ordered 2 inch + brake lines to allow for the lift, but is there anything else I should worry about, or is the 1.5 inch lift pretty straight forward? ie. no other modifications need doing

Also regarding the suspension lift, I was wanting to get some longer shackles, Blood red I think, for the rear, and then lift the front up a touch by adjusting the torsion bars. So I'm looking at uprating my shocks to allow for the extra 2 inch suspension lift. Blood red sell +2 pro comp shocks but I don't like what I've heard/read about them, I like the look of the Munroe ones, however I can't seem to see anywhere that says they have them +2 to allow for a suspension lift, or are the standard Munroe shocks able to handle a 2 inch suspension lift fine?

Sorry for all the questions on my first post! any help would be really appreciated, thanks, magnus

cheers for the reply, those pictures have cleared up a lot, appreciate it.
On the pro-comp shocks thing, just from searching around on different forums, people saying they have had the seals go on them for no apparent reason etc...., but i suppose most of the time you only read about something when someone has a problem with it.

i have been running procomps for 4 or 5 years now and some of them have gone on 3 or 4 of my trucks,i have never jad any problems with them.

i know some landrovers have had the pins snap but thats down to too much flex and having the nut done up too tight or having poly bush rubbers on them.

you could also look at rough country shocks if you are unsure of the procomps but i think im going to stay with procomps and my next set will be procomps Wink
