Cast of Characters:

Colin B and Maria
Vtrax - Tony, Lorraine, Matt and Sophie
Lee - Photographer with his friend Gemma
Simon - Second photographer with his friend and model, Jade
Kev and family in the orange 90
Team Cheese
Simon from RJB
Rob - Whose site it is (very nice to meet your dad)
The Models - Sam, Jade, Agnes. Sorry, but I don't remember the other names.
Tom in his Unimog.

What a great weekend. The Cheese Team had a wonderful time. Perfect weather and very good company.

I was impressed by the models. I expected them to be a bit stuck up and distant. Far from it. They joined in the fun and banter. One of them, think it was Agnes, came with me for her first drive off road and really liked it. She was even game to have a go herself and did really well.

For Gemma it was her first taste of off road. She came with me as a passenger. So I took it gently. But I was soon to be told to go faster, steeper and more water! As a gentleman I had to oblige

Some comments that made me laugh:

Lee to me:

" Make like you are stuck and we'll take some shots"

"I am stuck!"

Simon, before playing in the water pit:

"No need to attach a winch cable. It is a Suzuki with lockers"

Minutes later Colin had to winch him out.

Simon to me whilst playing in the pit:

" I didn't think V8s liked water"

" I have still have six cylinders left. Good for at least one more run!"

It was my fault that Colin had a wet bum

Colin - Thanks for the invite.

It was a great weekend indeed and a massive thank you to those who attended. Big thanks to Rob Wallace of Core 4x4 for the use of his site and it was great to see he is making progress following his serious injury.

The models were great and really entered into the spirit of the event as did everyone.

Always an experience...chatting with the Cheeses round the campfire, guaranteed laughs especially Mrs Cheese falling backwards off of her chair Laughing quickly followed by Mr Cheese Laughing Laughing

I had a race round the site which I again lost to Matty and was even beaten by young Reece who did a fantastic job of steering his 90. Well done lads.

We will be posting details of how to purchase the calendar as soon as we can.

Once again many many thanks to all who attended.

Oh and Mr Cheese, my backside was nice a cool on the way home, thanks for soaking the INSIDE of the Team Chaos Discovery Laughing

Colin Wink

I found it very stressful but enjoyable just the same. I always worry in case people dont enjoy themselves etc.
I guess looking at the piccys you will be able to tell just how knackered I was...still thank you Matty for making the loser hat. It fitted perfectly and I will treasure it.

I wonder if I can use the 'calendar photo shoot' excuse to get good looking, half naked women climbing over my car?

Mr Cheese, you forgot one conversation with Gemma;

Mr Cheese: "Push in the clutch"

Gemma: "What's the clutch?"

Mr Cheese: "Back to basics it is then!"

Before she punches me (she is looking over my shoulder), I need to point out she is a non-driver lol Very Happy

Perhaps the automatic would have been a better choice Laughing

Here is another comment:

Mrcheese " Do you model full time?"

Gemma " I am not a model "

Just connected up the fully charged caravan battery and NOTHING, damn. Still at least we are now getting round to cleaning the mud that was splashed everywhere inside the Team Chaos Disco by someone who shall remain nameless.
By the way Mr Cheese, how the devil are you? Laughing Laughing
