Hello, folks!
Just managed to pick up a Volvo C304 up here. Parts are even more rare to come by in the US than they are in Europe and GB, so here's to hoping I can source everything I need.
One thing that I haven't been able to find yet; the previous owner stripped the exterior bits off of the body (spare tire carrier, gas can holder, ID plate holders etc), I think I'm just going to build a custom spare tire carrier, but I'd love to see if I can find some of the ID plate holders - I'd love to be able to make up a bunch of ID plates with various things on them to slap in from time to time (Humorous things like an Umbrella Corporation logo, fun bumper stickers, etc). Unfortunitely, I cannot locate any of these on any of the volvo TGB parts sites I've been able to find. I know it's pretty popular to strip these off, so I was hoping maybe someone who has done that may still have them laying about and would be willing to sell them to me.
Thank you very much, and happy wheeling!

Hello there and welcome!!
Here's a link that might be of interest to you:

All the rights to the Volvo C3xx range of vehicles have been sold to these guys. The ID plates would be easily come by I should have thought. I left them on mine but I suppose many take them off and don't put them back on because they're a pain in the ass to put back on!

Thank you very much,
One other question if anyone knows, I need to replace the steering wheel (not stock, previous owner replaced it with a custom wheel he made for himself, and he was a midget - anyone over 5'10 cannot lift their leg high enough to operate the brake pedal as the wheel stops their legs), Does anyone know of an adapter that would work with a C303/304/306 series? Of course, none of the adaptor manufacturers list anything for this (wishful thinking there, I know haha) and I'm not too familiar with various steering components to know if this is a standard size used elsewhere or not.
I was hoping someone here had installed an adapter to use a different steering wheel in the past and could tell me what make they used.
Thanks!
