Well it was all going swimmingly well, then we pushed the button on the test site we have, and that was the point at which everything went Ti-- u-!!!!!!!
The forum was unrecognisable, none of it looked like Difflock at all in short it was a massive mess!!!!!!
The reason for this is a bit technical for me but i will have a go at explaining it.
The version of the software that we use to run the forum as you all probably know is rather old, so to be able to link this in to Tapatalk to give you a mobile application, we had to be running a newer version, which when we tested was the point at which it all went wrong!!
In short to put this right in the newer version will take a programmer 3 or 4 dedicated days to sort.
At the moment with a new revamp of the site coming in the summer at which time the coding will be written in a mobile friendly format we unfortunately do not have the time or budget to be able to get this interim measure sorted out for you but rest assured that the revamp will enable mobile browsing with ease and as I say this is planned for this Summer.
So, looking forward to the SUMMER - Sorry to disappoint for now but it will be sorted - I did try!!!
All the best
Ian

The current plan is to write the software in HTML5 which is "all application friendly" so it will open in all browsers without issue.
I can certainly put it forward that at the time we also make it available via Tapatalk aswell if you would like.

I've got an integrated spell checker in my browser, but then again I can spell fine without it!

If your confidence in a new forum core is anything like natures confidence in having a summer this year, we must hold little hope of ever getting a better Difflock forum this year
I could have sworn you said mid June hence the fact I went looking for your post - seems I was wrong as usual
Anyway "Is it nearly there yet?"
Current forum is getting very frustrating:
Getting logged out
Cookies not working - i.e. don't remember the posts I've read/not read
No new post on login (see above)
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............. (me getting more frustrated )
